Life didn’t unfold the way we imagined.
FOR WIDOWS WONDERING WHAT COMES NEXTYou’ve learned how to keep going.
But surviving a life you never expected and knowing how you want to live it are two different things.
You are still here. And somewhere along the way, the question becomes: What now?
Maybe you’ve kept life moving. You take care of what needs taking care of. From the outside, you may even look like you’re doing well.
But somewhere along the way, it may have become harder to know where you fit inside the life you’ve worked so hard to keep going.
WHAT YOU WANT.
WHO YOU ARE NOW.
WHAT YOU’RE ALLOWED TO HOPE FOR.
Maybe what comes next isn’t about starting over.
Maybe it begins with becoming curious again. Curious about what feels like you, what matters now, what you want more of, and what you may be ready to leave behind.
You don’t need to have the answers yet.
You may simply need a place to ask the questions. A place where you can be honest about what you miss, what you want, what scares you, and what might still be possible.
There are other women asking these questions too. Women who have loved deeply. Women who have continued showing up and quietly wondered who they are becoming now.
There is something powerful about not having to figure that out alone.
A DIFFERENT KIND OF SPACE FOR WIDOWSGrief belongs here. But so does everything else.
This is a space to honor what you’ve lost without leaving the rest of yourself outside. To explore who you are now, what matters to you, and how you want to live the life that is still yours.
both sides of the room
For more than twenty years, I’ve sat on one side of the room as a psychotherapist, helping people navigate some of the most difficult parts of their lives. Then I found myself on the other side.
I became a widow. And everything I understood professionally had to make room for what I was coming to know personally.
There are things we can understand about grief. And there are things we can only know by living them.
Grief can remain part of your story without becoming the whole story.
what comes after surviving?
Loss changes us. Coming back to yourself isn't about returning to who you were before. It's about becoming curious about who you are now—and who you may still become.
coming back to yourself
Loss can rearrange what matters. The life that once made sense may no longer fit in quite the same way. This is a place to notice what you want to carry forward, what you may be ready to release, and what you want to make room for now.
making room for a life that fits
You didn't get to choose what happened. But you do get to have a say in what comes next. To begin noticing what you want, what matters to you now, and the choices that are yours to make. Not because grief is finished, but because this is still your life.
having a say in what comes next
WHAT WE’LL TEND TOGETHERTHE WORK OF THIS SEASON
There is no map for the life that comes after loss.
And there is no single version of what comes next. Our work will begin with the life you are actually living - making space for what has been, what is here now, and what may be beginning to emerge.
what has been
Making sense of what you’ve lived through — and the ways it has changed you.
what is here
Getting curious about the life you’re living now — what needs tending, what feels stuck, and what you need more of.
what is emerging
Beginning to notice what is calling you forward — desire, possibility, identity, and a life that feels like your own.
